About Royal Torbay Yacht Club

The Royal Torbay Yacht Club has been around since 1875 and sits above Torquay harbour in Devon. It's the perfect place to enjoy a sunny afternoon with a commanding view of Torbay.

Social

The club has an active social calendar with regular quiz nights, speakers and commemorative meals. The club has a members bar and a restaurant overlooking the bay.

Mooring

The club itself has no moorings but harbour moorings can be easily booked here  and Torquay Marina also has places. 

Sailing

The club has a racing calendar and hosts the Torbay Regatta and the Torbay Dinghy Regatta. There's also a cruising club with trips around the South Devon coast. The club is also an RYA training centre.
